The block was not continuous and results in a block in the back foul in PlayPic C. If the blocker had maintained contact in PlayPic B the block would have been legal.
2-3-2b This is a legal blocking position with extended arms and open hands. Team A blockers may use open hands when blocking if the hands are in advance of the elbows and within the blocker's frame and the opponent's frame. The hands must be open when the forearms are extended more than 45 degrees from the blocker's body.
