SAN DIEGO COUNTY FOOTBALL OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION - THE WEEKLY BULL FOR FLAG FOOTBALL – November 2, 2026
The Final Bulletin – The SDCFOA hopes that you’ve found these bulletins to be helpful in some manner. Our officials report that the additional leadership provided by Katie Ott has been a huge boost to our instructional program. Thinking back to our original season, I’m embarrassed by where we were, but excited to see the growth and enthusiasm for this great sport. We are now getting Hudl film and have learned how to upload movies that are sent into our Hudl system. Katie plans to spend some of this summer categorizing our library so that our officials can see multiple examples of legal plays and various types of fouls. Have a great offseason and good luck to the semifinalists and finalists.
Four Game Officials for All Semifinal and Championship Games – We will be adding a Back Judge to our officiating group for all semifinals and championship games. This will provide one additional view of the action downfield following each snap. The Back Judge will also officiate the Endline in the back of the endzone and keep the 25-second play clock and use the same signaling system that the referee provided in 3-Offical mechanics. A copy of our 4-Official Mechanics Manual is attached.
Girls Flag Football Championship Bulletin – This informative document can be found on the CIF website at www.cifsds.org. Find the SPORTS drop down menu and select Girls Flag Football. Once you are on that flag football page look for Championship Bulletin.
