Hello SDCFOA Officials,
PLEASE remember to recruit new officials for the 2025 season! Now is the perfect time to get them signed up so that a kit is ready for them at our first meeting July 9th at Mira Mesa High School. It will save your new recruit the time and effort to sign up at the 1st meeting when they could be inside beginning to enjoy becoming an SDCFOA 1st year official! Recruit NOW!
Flag Officials - MaryAnn Menlove, or CIF Flag Football Rules Interpreter, created an instructional video on the new blocking rule. This video is dated June 11th, so it is timely and informative. I believe the key terms relative to the judgment of legal and illegal blocking/contact are defined in this video. I also believe that coaches may find these terms helpful in their teaching of these new techniques.
